Welcome to the website of Boy Scout Troop 194. Boy Scout Troop 194 is chartered by the Mason United Methodist Church, Mason, Ohio, and is a member of the Hopewell District of the Dan Beard Council. Health Form Update

Each year, we are required to update our Health Forms for all registered youth and adult members of Troop 194.

Please click here to download the BSA Health and Medical Form. Complete sections A & B, and then turn it in to the Scoutmaster or Committee Chair.

Only those members who have valid Health and Medical Forms will be permitted to participate in campouts starting in February.

Adventurers Wanted!

Get ready! The 2013 National Scout Jamboree is coming and it ain't your father's jamboree. We're talking seriously high adventure, people! Whitewater rafting, zip-lining, rappelling, mountain biking, hiking, and more - with 50,000 of your closest friends at the brand new Summit Bechtel Reserve in the wilds of West Virginia.

(Almost) Free SAT/ACT Software for Boy Scouts

In alliance with the Boy Scouts of America, eKnowledge is offering SAT and ACT test prep programs valued at $200, free to Boy Scout families. The eKnowledge Sponsorship Alliance is made up of educationally focused foundations, as well as a group of professional athletes from the National Football League and Major League Baseball that includes Warrick Dunn and Chipper Jones. The eKnowledge Sponsorship Alliance has provided more than 120,000 SAT/ACT prep programs to families all over the United States.

Help is needed in many areas including ticket taking, assisting activities, acting, etc. The event provides math and science demonstrations and activities to kids grade 2-5.

New Scouts, Instructors, Troop Guides and coaches will work on basic camping skills.

Kroger Gift Card Rebate Program

The Troop is using this program to save for a new Troop bus. You can also use it to put money on your Scout's account. 4% of the money placed on your card will be rebated to the Troop - 80% of that goes to your Scout's account and the rest goes to the Bus Fund. Aluminum Cans for Cash

The Troop is collecting cans and turning them into cash. All cash procedes are accumulated iin a troop account that the PLC can use to fund projects, events, or items for the troop. They've purchased a ping-pong table for the Church, Ground Effects Lighting for the Bus, New stoves, lanterns, and water jugs. Great Work!

The monthly collection day for aluminum cans will be the 1st meeting of each month. Please bring crushed cans and place them in the bins for bagging.
