Below are some available resources that describe the Scouting Program.

Uniforms
Official Placement of Insignia (PDF Document)
Troop 194 Uniform Donation Program - If your scout's uniform no longer fits him, donate it to the Troop (receipt for tax purposes will be provided), and the Troop will resell it to another scout for a fraction of the price of a new uniform item. The proceeds go to support the Troop.

Driver's License and Insurance Questionnaire - Anyone driving Scout's to and from scouting activities should fill out this form and give it to the Scoutmaster so we can have this information on file.
Talent Release Form - All scouts and adult leaders must have a Talent Release Form on file with the Troop.

Parents Meeting - Troop 194 holds a Parents Meeting on the first Tuesday of every Month. The meeting is held immediately following the regular Troop meeting and lasts for approximately 30 minutes. At the meeting the adult Troop leaders discuss upcoming Troop activities, collect monies and permission slips, and answer questions from the parents. Scout supplies can be purchased from the two area Scout Shop Locations. See the map for directions.

An online Scout catalog is available at www.scoutstuff.org. You can browse through the catalog, create a Shoping list, print it, and take it to your nearest Scout Shop. On-line ordering is not available at this time.

Medical Forms

A Class 1 Medical form is required for all scouts participating in any event that does not exceed 72 consecutive hours, where the level of activity is similar to that normally expended at home or at school, and where medical care is readily available. Examples of this type of activity include day camp, day hike, swimming party, or an overnight camp. Medical information required is a current health history signed by parents or guardian. This form must be renewed yearly. |

A Class 2 Medical Form is required for all scouts participating in any event that exceeds 72 consecutive hours, where the level of activity is similar to that normally expended at home or at school, and where medical care is readily available. Examples if this type of activity include resident camping, tour camping, and hiking in relatively populated areas. Medical data required is an annual health history signed by parents or guardian supported by a medical evaluation completed within the past 36 months by a licensed health-care practitioner. The Class 2 Medical Form is designed primarily for resident Cub Scout and Boy Scout summer camp but could be used for any Class 2 activity. Youth members and adult participants under 40 years of age use this form. This form must be renewed every 3 years. |

A Class 3 Medical form is required for all scouts participating in any event involving strenuous activity such as backpacking, high altitude, extreme weather conditions, cold water, exposure, fatigue, athletic competition, adventure challenge, or remote conditions where readily available medical care cannot be assured. Examples of this type of activity includes high-adventure activities, jamborees, Wood Badge, and extended backpacking trips in remote areas. Medical information required includes current health history supported by a medical evaluation within the past 12 months performed by a licensed health-care practitioner. Adults age 40 or older will use this form for Class 2 and Class 3 activities. This form must be renewed yearly. |
